...I will be serving an 18 month mission for my church in the Philippines Angeles Mission. This means that I will be leaving here indefinitely. I do not know if I want to return or will have time to return. Just working at Walmart the hours that I have been with a horse, social life to maintain, etc. has kept me from here the past few months. When I return from the Philippines I will be doing that same bit here and then heading back out to school in the West. So I probably won't have time then.

I love you all and am loathe to part from ya, but at the same time I got other duties. And this time I will bow out peacefully instead of deserting you for 7 months without notice... err, sorry 'bout that.

Question is, should I adopt my characters out or have them peacefully retreat from the realm of Terra? Any ideas? Though I really don't want to see anyone else playing Rogan or Plex, I couldn't bear that.

as for your horses, it's like me and tagore; i could never stand to have someone else play him... so i'm just keeping him... on my museless minded account.. and just left him be... although, people make requests to rp with him sometimes, i seriously don't have the time much anymore, too.

with the horses, you could adopt out those you are not very attatched to? (i would never adopt out shahar, pharaoh or kite) before you go, if you want to adopt out the characters, you could hold tryouts? :3 make sure they go to good homes? :D

You're a wonderful writer and person. As krazy said, we are very proud of you. It's great that you're doing this! People like you are making the world a better place.

As for your characters, I can't imagine anyone playing them but you. I personally think you should just retire them for now...who knows, maybe in a few years you'll stumble back to Hoofbeat with an urge to roleplay again!

I understand completely Mawwy hun- it's great that you've been called to do such a great thing, even though I'll miss you lots! It's pretty selfish of me to wish you were here, when you are going to be out there helping and reaching out to so many people. <3

The horses? Hm. I certainly can't see anyone playing them as well as you, so I second Krazy's motion to simply retire them for now.

aweee sucky that your leaving!! But I suppose seeing as it's for a good cause that I can let you off the hook. we'll miss joooo and i agree that you should just retire your horses or something. i'm the same i could nevver let anyone play any of my horses though i wouldn't kill them off just make them disappear for awhile cause maybe one day when (or maybe) you finally have time they can wander back and rein the place cause everyone missed them haha.
