Oh no.
Not here. Not again. Adrianna had firmly told herself she was not going to return here. But her hooves had led her here while she was not being alert, taking her slowly but surely towards the dark tunnels she spent so much time at. Adrianna's glossy black coat shone in the moonlight, rich brown eyes gleaming with a type of unease. Tossing her black mane, she took a step backwards.
You rpomised yourself, Adrianna thought fiercely. You were supposed to stay in the open, at the Pad, so she could find you again! Now that Shawnee had returned to the Terra, Adrianna wanted to spend as much time with her as possible. It was all too easy for someone to disappear from your life, never to be seen again. Adrianna knew that all too well.
You're here now. You might as well go in. The dark thought tempted her. The temptation to go back into the cape, to return home for one night, it was too strong. Go on, the traitorous thought continued, just one night. Adrianna took one hesitant step forward, then another, until she was eagerly pacing toward the entrance to the tunnels.
And yes, she did know she had to get her mood-swings under control, thank you very much.
((My style is beginning to change... Huh.))

Witch caught herself momentarily admiring the dark chocolate mare as she hesitantly stepped forward, most of her focus on the mare was purely out of cynicism, the other part was unexplainable — even though only momentarily, the dappled mare seemed captivated for at least a full minute or two. Strings of pearly white, gray and smoky off-white danced loosely over her smooth, velvet furred forehead. Her tail curled and spun, the gray plumage wore the classic look of an Arabian’s thin wispy tail, she let it rise and fall with the swarms of night-prowling gnats that continuously washed over her. Each gust of ocean wind swept them away, after the waves of breeze settled, they returned again to stinging her underbelly and inner thighs, again and again she swatted at them, her nose upright, nostrils pulsating tightly as she smelt the identity of this stranger horse. Mare, no doubt, alone? Witch wasn’t much for social matters or gatherings, she preferred the other side of corresponding with others — the sarcastic, unforgiving and cruel humor side.
The twinge of admiration had come and gone, a ripple of peacefulness entered and fled, leaving her feeling as she normally did, distant and self-righteous. Her mouth tapered into a greasy smirk, her chocolate eyes bent just slightly in the mares direction, Witch remained still, letting just her eyes follow the mare as she came nearer and nearer.
witch. this is what the world is for, making electricity.

One step into the tunnel and Adrianna felt the presence. Her nostrils flared, scenting for the horse she had not yet seen. She peered around the dark tunnel, brown eyes flashing. Her deep black coat blended with the dark tunnels, making her seem simply a shadow. Sniffing the air, she found the stranger to be a mare. Adrianna's mouth split into a type of smirk, an almost... sadistic smirk. Her eyes closed as she spoke.
Who are you?
The words were neither curious or weary, only a habit. Her words weren't polite or rude - too abrupt to be polite, but not short enough to be considered rude. Adrianna opened her eyes again, waiting patiently for them to adjust to the darkness. She took a few steps forward, determined to show she was not scared. Tail flicking impatiently, her face returned to the carefully neutral expression Adrianna almost always wore.
Brilliant, Adrianna, her mind chastised. You keep your face neutral but keep your tail flicking impatiently. Way to keep your emotions hidden. Irritated by her idiotic mistake, she kept her tail still.

Witch waited, her ghostly skeleton eerily still as she watched; like a cat prowling for mice, she watched the mare be swallowed into the dark tunnel. Witch’s hooves immediately shifted and she brought herself slimily down the rocky slope, down into the sand where the entrance of this damp corridor awaits. There was no question, this mare had surely heard her by now, so the dappled mistress wasted no time slinking into the horse size opening to the dungeon, curiously hunting for the mare’s shadowy frame.
Her voice chimed and Witch’s thin, smoky body came to an abrupt halt. She was quick to retort with was maniacal chuckle, stepping forward as the other mare did, equally confident in herself, maybe even more so. Witch scrunched her eyes together as if she was trying to get a better look, “Well you’re not Starfire!” She raised her voice with a boom of laughter, as if she had really mistaken the mare’s body for that of someone else. As if she cornered her in a cave thinking she was someone else…
“Huh.” She pursed her pale lips with mock thinking, “What should we do now then?” Witch’s eyes pinned onto the mare’s delicate, sweet face, licking her smooth, hungry lips as she slid forward on flexible ankles. “I’m Witch.” She purred, skirting her lips gently against the mare’s nose, “What’s yours?” Her tail slashed from one side to the other, her wide, primal eyes fluttering across Adrianna’s face with deviousness.

((I HATE PSes.))
“Well you’re not Starfire!” Huh. Can't the old witch smell? Any horse with a nose - or at least a working one - can tell one horse from another. Dear Amon. Maybe this mare was stupid as a dog. Laughter rang out from the lighter horse, booming around the small cave we were in.
Funny, though. She could corner horses more effectively than quite a few - dare I call them it? - Purists. Though I still considered them gaggling half-wits. The old nag spoke again, lips pursed in mocking thought. "Huh," the nag siddled forward, "What should we do now then?"
"I'm Witch. What's your's?" The lips brushed against my nose, and I my head instinctively flew downwards, then back up. I shook my mane, giving off an air of importance. Body half-blended with the shadows, I had a fleeting thought of how disasterous (sp?) it would be if I had a ... mood-swing, shall I say.
Adrianna, I purred. Dark eyes gleamed in the gloom, the deceptive smile appeared once more. Pleased to be of service. The S came out as a sharp hiss, loud and unexpected. With no hint of noticing the sound, I stepped back, allowing myself to be embraced once again by the shadows.
